The 2013 edition of of the Billboard Music Awards took place last night May 19, 2013. Many top artist were in attendance with the hope of going home with an award. With so many artist and some very good ones, there were many whose hopes were not meant.

While some went home with nothing and others managed to grab an award, artists like Madonna, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj went home with multiple awards.

King of Swaziland Wants To Make Me His (14th) Says Virgin Bride Seeking Asylum In The UK

A young woman is seeking  asylum in Britain after she spurned the advances of the polyamorous King Mswati III of Swaziland and refused to join his harem of 13 wives.
Tintswalo Ngobeni, 22, fled to England from the southern African nation as a teenager after she caught the attention of the millionaire monarch, a notoriously oppressive ruler known for his lavish lifestyle.
As part of Swazi custom, King Mswati III, 45, is permitted to choose a new bride every year.
Miss Ngobeni, who now lives in Birmingham, was just 15 when the King made his advances after seeing her at the palace of his fourth wife, LaNgangaza. She said she was ‘terrified’ when she learned of his marriage intentions.

She added: ‘He started calling me at boarding school. He would ask me if I wanted to be a part of the royal family. I had to keep quiet about my fears but I knew I didn’t want to get married to him and have a life devoted to the king.

TV Gal Dolapo Oni leaves Studio 53, joins Ebony Life TV

After three solid years as co-host of M-Net’s entertainment show ‘53 Extra’, Dolapo Oni has left the show. She has signed up with Mo Abudu’s famed talk show ‘Moments With Mo’, which has found a new home as the flagship show at Africa’s first global TV network: Ebony Life TV.

Dolapo saw Ebony Life as a fantastic opportunity that couldn't be missed. On moving to this exciting new channel, Dolapo says: “I’m looking forward to being part of history-in –the-making with Ebony Life TV. It’s an amazing team and the perfect new venture for me”.

Durella gets brand new Prado from Warri big boy, Ayiri Emami

King of the Zanga, Durella, has a new whip courtesy Warri based oil merchant and CEO of 911 Entertainment, Ayiri Emami. Ayiri a few days back gave Durella a brand new 2012 Toyota Prado ) as a gift for being a loyal protege. (pictured above)

Ayiri is the same guy who bought 2face Idibia a brand new Range Rover in 2010 and co-sponsored his Dubai wedding in March. Big congrats to Durella.
